“ No Woman, No Cry ” is the famous reggae song of Bob Marley and The Wailers. The original title is “No Woman, Nuh Cry” in Jamaica tongue.The “nuh”, is a shorter vowel sound for “no”, and corresponds to the short form “don’t”. Part of my duty as a citizen journalist/ blogger, I realized that I have to get people's voice more heard than just reporting the reality under my personal views. Therefore, I am starting today, December 10th, 2012- the Human Rights Day- new series of videos I call "Human Rights Voices". A lot of people think this world is getting worse and worse with all the conflicts we are witnessing, the challenges we are facing, the climate change, the economic crisis, the increasing poverty rate etc.. It seems that the world is giving birth to more corrupt minds.  If it was just me experiencing this, I would maybe not even talk about it since I'll consider it an exception but it strangely happened with many people complaining about the same thing and you might have experienced it as well. We are 15 bloggers for CIVICUS, who have been granted full bursaries to attend the World Assembly in Canada.  Some of us had their visas either rejected once and twice or not issued on time because of long and annoying procedures. CIVICUS has been one of the lifetime experiences to get my voice be heard widely and tell the people all over the world about my thoughts, beliefs and critics... because I believe my voice matters like YOUR voice and everyone's voice. I started by organizing a panel in which I will bring people from different backgrounds, speaking different languages, holding different ideologies and visions to talk about Youth Mobilization through Social Media, from their personal experiences. I finally succeeded to gather four amazing youth voices from Egypt, Yemen, Belarus and North Carolina . My panel is entitled Youth, Social Media and Mobilization. It will take place on Monday September 3rd, 2012. I then started blogging for CIVICUS last month to promote the coming Youth Assembly and raise questions and give tangible solutions about Changing Nations through Citizens and many other crucial topics. Aya Chebbi's Photography           Tunisia’s flag has been raised up in another special occasion today: “Independence Day of Tunisia”. I’ve never celebrated the Independence Day. For some Tunisians, it would be just a day off, for others it would be a good opportunity to rest and sleep or hang out with friends, for me it has always been another day like every day. All what this day means is the declaration of independence form the French colonization on March 20th, 1956. However, today was a march and more than a mere independence commemoration. Although some parties tried to gather in groups, holding different flags and calling for different slogans, by noon, thousands of Tunisians were standing in front of Interior Ministry, holding the same flag “Tunisia’s Flag” chanting: الشعـــب يــــريد دولــــــة مــــدنيـة   “the people demand, a civil state”, recalling the commitment of January 14th as if that day has been a second independence… ...
